It is a core part of our mission to encourage everyone – not just seniors – to think about and plan for end-of-life for themselves and their loved ones. And yet, we know how easy it can be to avoid thinking about something so unpleasant. However, without planning and conversations, many people experience a “bad death” that doesn’t reflect the wishes of the dying person and contributes to the unnecessary suffering of family & friends.
So, Bridges has created a unique and meaningful event called What Matters Most: An Intergenerational Festival Exploring the Art of Living Fully to the End. This festival – yes, festival – features music, art, storytelling, games, inspirational speakers, and a pop-up bookstore to create a safe – even fun – space for all ages to reflect, learn, share, and plan for life’s final chapter as a means to living fully right now!
So, please save the date and plan to join us Sunday, April 14, 2019. More details coming soon.
